ST52-3 is a type of low alloy steel that is widely used for manufacturing various industrial as well as domestic products and applications. It is also known as EN S355JR and JIS SM490A. the ST52-3 round bar is known best and appreciated for its application specific design, durability, dimensional accuracy, workability, weldability, excellent corrosion resistance, and long service life. Thus, these round bars are used in heavy duty industries for several purposes. They can even withstand high temperature and bear all types of the environment without getting damage.
Testing and packaging
Testing and packaging are considered the most important steps of the manufacturing process, without which we cannot decide whether the manufactured product is of good quality or not. Therefore, to check the quality of the ST52-3 round bar several tests and inspections are done. Those quality tests include hardness test, flattening test, flaring test, corrosion resistance test, radiography test, mill test, macro and micro test, and ultrasonic test. Few more tests are done like third-party inspection, visual inspection, destructive and non-destructive test, and chemical composition analysis.
For all these tests and inspections, different test certificates and documentation are approved proving products quality and durability. At last, the ST52-3 round bar is packed in wooden cases or bundles to prevent damages and rust at the time of transportation.
